Flat tire on the trailer!

We left early Sunday morning from Waco with the hope to arrive in Laredo by early afternoon. That way, we'd be able to get across the border and to the orphanage in the early afternoon.

At 8 a.m., we had a flat tire on the trailer! God was really watching over us though - we were close to an exit. After we carefully drove off the exit, we had to unload the whole trailer.

Then we began searching for where we could buy two new tires on Sunday morning. Luckily, we were only about 6 miles from a Walmart and they opened at 9 a.m. We put the spare on, drove to the Walmart, and got our new tires. We only lost about 2 hours. So all said, we were very lucky.

The night before we had talked about how on these trips, we have a plan but then we need to be extremely flexible because the plans don't always work out. Our motto is "Flex and Flow." This was a Flex and Flow situation!
