Travel Day Today

 After a fairly restful night, we got underway by 7:30 a.m.

Okay, perhaps a few in our group were a little overly optimistic about the weather — see two of our team in shorts during the snow storm we went through in southern Kansas.

 This year, we are traveling on a new bus. For those of you who have traveled before, note the "upgraded seat configuration" in the back where groups can actually face each other. It's great.

 People have all kinds of way to pass the time — reading, sleeping, playing games, talking, and knitting.

The photo below gives you a better view of the snow storm we encountered — our team members who flew to Laredo on Friday said the temperature is 100 degrees there . . . . wondering when we'll hit that warmth.

We will travel onto Waco, Texas tonight and stay at a church there, too.
