Hand Print Banner — A Labor of Love

The "Hand Print Banner" that we are bringing to Casa Hogar this year started on our trip to the orphanage in 2011. The children had so much fun painting their hands and then adding them to banner along with their names.

You can only imagine what other creative places the children thought up to leave their hand prints!

We brought the banner home and have been adding hand prints and names to it during the last two years —
  • Our Sunday School children have added their names.
  • All Saints members have been invited to add their names at various times.
  • Our 2013 Mexico Mission Team have added their hand prints and names.

The intention was to create two banners — one for Casa Hogar and one for All Saints to symbolize our connections as "family members" to each other.

Our All Saints quilting group has been hard at work creating the two banners.

These two banners — with the words Love and Amor — have been a labor of love. The Mexico Mission team is so excited about taking them to our friends at Casa Hogar!
